SKF
Spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers which have a common spherical raceway on the outer ring. The inner ring has its own roller track for each row of rollers, which is at an angle to the axis of the bearing. The bearing is self-aligning, so the bearings allow for a small parallel difference between the shaft and the bearing housing, which may arise during installation or due to shaft deflection. In addition to radial loads, the bearings can carry axial loads in both directions.

Spherical roller bearings usually have a lubrication groove and three lubrication holes (W33) on the outer ring, and these are available with different clearances. Spherical roller bearings are also available with a sealing. Spherical roller bearings are available with both cylindrical and tapered bores. Normally the taper is 1:12 (K), but with wider bearing sets the taper is 1:30 (K30). We also supply flare and withdrawal sleeves. |
