The speed adjustment is three-step, so use only as much power as necessary to extend battery life. The speed control also has an automatic mode, where the device adjusts the speed to the required level according to the situation.

The UR002G is part of Makita's 40V battery-powered tool family. For instance, using the metal blade at the lowest speed, a 5.0 Ah battery can handle up to one and a half hours of mowing. The UR002G is lightweight, weighing only 5.3 kg with a 5.0 Ah battery ready for use. The lightweight standard harness for the brush cutter distributes the weight across both shoulders.
