Durability and heat resistance:

- NBR has good resistance to: Oil-based hydraulic fluids, animal and vegetable oils, flame retardant liquids, fats, water, air
- NBR does not possess good resistance to: Ozone, sunlight, outdoor conditions
- Temperature range: -30°C - +120°C

- EPDM has good resistance to: Heat, steam, alcohol
- EPDM does not possess good resistance to: Oil, greases
- Temperature range: -40°C - +145°C

- FPM has good resistance to: Mineral oils and greases, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, petrol, diesel fuels, silicone oils, greases
- FPM does not possess good resistance to: Steam, hot water
- Temperature range: -30°C - +200°C

- CSM has good resistance to: Acids, oils, ozone, good aging characteristics
- CSM does not possess good resistance to: Chlorine
- Temperature range: -40°C - +140°C

- FEP/VMQ has good resistance to: Nearly all chemicals, steam, oils. Self-lubricating and anti-adhesive
- FEP/VMQ does not possess good resistance to: Hardness
- Temperature range: -60°C - +204°C

- PTFE/EPDM has good resistance to: Alcohols, acids
- PTFE/EPDM does not possess good resistance to: Oil, greases. Hardness.
- Temperature range: -25°C - +100°C

- PTFE/FPM has good resistance to: Mineral oils and greases, alifatics and aromatics
- PTFE/FPM does not possess good resistance to: Low temperatures
- Temperature range: -10°C - +200°C
