This system is suitable as a fall-stop anchor point or as a lifeline for one or more individuals. The safety cable can also be installed uniformly around corners, making it particularly suitable for modern buildings, industrial settings, and environmentally demanding applications. With a minimal number of moving parts and high-quality materials, the Shedline Cable System guarantees a long lifespan and low lifecycle costs. Designed to enable efficient and safe work in fall hazard areas, the system complies with current regulations. It allows a wide range of tasks to be carried out in areas where work might otherwise be hazardous, protecting users from unnecessary risks. The cable is attached to structures using fixed anchorages, with several types available. By using intermediate safety points in the spans, the system can cover very large areas, up to 120 m. The installation height can be chosen from foot level upwards, depending on the site and application. The cable can be installed at a maximum incline of 15 degrees. The sliding carriage, which serves as an attachment point for personal protective equipment, can be installed and removed at any point in the system and runs unobstructed on the wire rope, even past intermediate safety points. Depending on the application and design, one or more trolleys can be placed on the wire rope. The system is installed by an installer authorized by the manufacturer. The authorized installer will determine the periodic inspection interval of the system, which will depend on the severity of the conditions (1 to 4 years). The installer may train a representative of the client company to carry out the periodic inspection of the system. Lifetime limit: Unlimited, requires regular inspection. Each Shedline system is individually designed for each site.
