Clearing Saw UR012GZ10 XGT

Part of Makita's XGT product family, the powerful 80 V Clearing Saw UR012G uses two 40 V batteries. The standard accessories enable versatile mowing tasks, from grass to underbrush.

With the line head, the cutting width is 480 mm, allowing for quick mowing of larger areas. The composite knife blade also cuts dense vegetation, and the metallic grass blade can additionally mow underbrush. Additionally, the saw is equipped with a 225 mm clearing blade and a sector guard, making it suitable for forestry clearing and sapling care. In clearing tasks, the practical working efficiency of the UR012G matches 45-55 cc gas-powered saws. For forestry clearing, two 5.0 Ah batteries last about 50 minutes in professional use, and for demanding hobby use, up to 1.5 - 2 hours.

The saw is compact and balanced. Thanks to the quick handle adjustment, the UR012G is easy to customize for personal comfort and ergonomics. The UR012G weighs 9.3 kg when equipped with two 5.0 Ah batteries for operation. The included pro harness from Makita distributes the weight to the hips instead of the shoulders, which prevents strain on the user’s arms and shoulders. This also lowers the center of gravity compared to traditional harnesses, making it easier to move in uneven terrain.
