The sharpening of the two cutting edges of the blade and the design of the handle are specifically intended for cable stripping. Thanks to the unique fastening mechanism, the sheath will not accidentally detach from the workwear's button, although it is easy to remove when needed. The knife blade is made of 1.5 mm Japanese utility steel, with a hardness of 58–60 HRC.

Additional details The two cutting edges of the blade are specially ground for effective cable stripping. The stem and sheath are made of highly impact-resistant PP plastic. The sheath can be attached either to a belt or to a button on work clothes. If the belt is thick, the small pin on the cover of the sheath can be cut off. The ELK-L model has a green handle and sanding intended for left-handed users.
