The knife's thin blade, blade sharpening and handle design are designed specifically for cable stripping. Thanks to the unique fastening mechanism, the sheath will not accidentally come off the workwear button, although it can be easily removed if necessary. The knife blade is made of 1.5 mm Japanese knife steel, hardened to 58–60 HRC.

The thin blade is shaped and sharpened specifically for cable stripping.
The handle and sheath are made of highly impact-resistant PP plastic.
The sheath can be attached either to a belt or to a workwear button. If the belt is thick, the small pin on the sheath lid can be cut off.
Fits in the same sheath as the ELK knife.
