Food coupling SHANK-63 UTS

Applications: couplings in dairy and food industry hose systems
- Available in female and male variations (female is more common in hoses)
- The female coupling contains the hose shank and nut.
- SMS 1145 nut. Fastened to a hose with SL clamp (smooth shank) or hydraulic press sleeve (serrated shank)
- Shank material: AISI 316L, nut material: AISI 304. The nut is slid across the head of the female coupling and onto the male coupling. The flat face of the female coupling is brought into contact with the turned-up seal of the male coupling.
- Also available with rubber coated nut
Properties:
- AISI 316 nut surface is coated with non-staining blue rubber.
- Can be opened and tightened by hand, no tools required.
- The rubber-coated nut protects the coupling from impacts.
- Available diameters: 38mm, 51mm, 63mm and 76mm.
The nut is then tightened by hand or using a wrench.
