Glass cloth electrical tapes
Glass cloth electrical tapes are special tapes developed for electrical insulation and protection needs, especially for applications requiring high temperatures and mechanical stress. These tapes, made of high-quality glass cloth, offer a solution for industrial applications where heat resistance (up to +300°C), mechanical strength (tensile strength, toughness, resistance to abrasion and tearing) and good electrical insulation properties are required. They do not shrink, rot or burn, and some types are also resistant to solvents and chemicals. Glass cloth electrical tapes are commonly used for insulating/protecting motors and transformers, for winding coils in furnaces, for protecting cables and components from abrasion, for reinforcing wire joints and in other special applications.
