Battery-powered metal circular saw for precise and fast metal cutting. Cuts metal profiles of varying thicknesses almost spark-free without the need for a hot work permit. The metal shavings generated during sawing are efficiently collected in the chip container, which can be quickly emptied with one hand.

The powerful brushless motor combined with the Makita XGT 40V battery system ensures excellent cutting performance even under heavy loads. Maximum cutting depth up to 67 mm thanks to the large 185mm blade. Blade speed of 3500 rpm and constant speed control minimize speed loss under load.

Active load detection stops the machine's blade if the blade gets stuck in the workpiece for any reason. The electronic brake stops the blade immediately when the switch is released. The brake not only increases safety but also speeds up work when making successive repeated cuts. The soft start reduces recoil during startup. The blade guard can also be opened with a separate lever, making it easier to start precise cuts.

Two bright LED lights clearly illuminate the cutting area even in low light. The machine also features the Makita XPT system, which effectively protects the device from dust and water.
