92 09 01 ESD Plastic ESD Tweezers ESD tweezers are made of 30% carbon fiber reinforced plastic, offering excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and they are highly resistant to abrasion and scratching. Only ESD versions: surface resistance of 10^2–10^4 ohms compensates in a controlled manner for potential differences between the user and electronic components. ESD plastic tweezers can withstand prolonged use at temperatures up to 130 °C, and short-term use is possible at temperatures up to 190 °C. The ESD versions made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue resistant, vibration reducing, and water-repellent, providing good resistance to chemicals (most oils, greases, fuels, and nonpolar solvents). ESD plastic tweezers are ideally suited for optimal surface protection when handling sensitive electronic components, precision mechanical parts, as well as glass and ceramic components.
