92 09 05 ESD Plastic ESD Tweezers ESD tweezers are made from 30% carbon fiber reinforced plastic, providing excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as exceptional resistance to abrasion and scratching. Only ESD versions: surface resistance of 10^2–10^4 ohms compensates for potential differences between the user and electronic components in a controlled manner. ESD plastic tweezers withstand prolonged use at temperatures of up to 130 °C, with short-term use possible at temperatures up to 190 °C. The ESD versions made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue-resistant, vibration-dampening, and water-repellent, as well as resistant to chemicals (most oils, greases, fuels, and apolar solvents). ESD plastic tweezers are ideal for optimum surface protection when handling sensitive electronic components, precision mechanical parts, as well as glass and ceramic components.
