Features: Tivar H.O.T. material has been developed to retain the properties of PE-UHMW at temperatures up to 125 °C. Additives reduce the oxidation rate of the material at higher temperatures, thereby slowing material degradation and extending wear-life in chemical, elevated temperature and thermo-cycling environments. Excellent wear and release characteristics.

- Resistance to chemicals: pH range approx. 1–13, generally very resistant to chemicals
- UV resistance: poor
- Food grade: FDA and “Food Grade” (EU) 10/2011 (certificate given while making factory order)
