PTFE tape is made of more than 99.9% pure PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). It is designed for general use in sealing threaded joints of metal pipes. The tape is 12 meters long, 12 mm wide and 0.076 mm thick. The tape has a density of 0.30 g/cm³ and an additive content of less than 0.1%.

• Chemical resistance to most organic and inorganic chemicals, solvents and oxidizing agents.
• Temperature range from -200 °C to 260 °C
• Hydrophobic, resistant to hydrolysis
• Low friction
• Structure does not flake or tear
• Resistance to UV radiation and aging

Applications:
The tape is suitable for sealing threaded joints of metal pipes. It can be wrapped around the threads of the pipes and seal them to prevent leaks.

Installation:
A minimum of two full wraps of tape are recommended to seal the threaded joint.
