The Solid Oil lubrication method is based on adding lubricating oil in solid form directly into the bearing. Solid Oil is a solid polymer matrix saturated with lubricating oil, fully filling the free space within the bearing and covering the cage and rolling elements. This design prevents moisture or contaminants from entering the bearing, and the lubricant cannot leak out of the bearing, even during washing. The polymer matrix serves as an oil reservoir, supplying oil to the rolling surfaces of the bearing in the required amounts during use, ensuring effective and optimal lubrication for the entirety of its lifespan. The Solid Oil lubrication solution is available for the most common ball and roller bearings, as well as bearing units. Solid Oil can be identified by the W64 suffix in the bearing marking. Solid Oil is also available in food-grade versions.
