The 640 × 480 thermal resolution combined with top-notch optics, alongside FLIR UltraMax® and MSX® image enhancement technologies, ensures that the camera produces the brightest, clearest, and most interpretable images in its class. The thermal camera includes laser-assisted autofocus, a laser distance meter, an area measurement tool, as well as 3 point measurement and area tools. The camera accurately measures temperatures up to 1500°C and produces sharp and clear images, which can further be enhanced using FLIR’s patented MSX® technology. The device features the FLIR Inspection Route functionality*, which allows you to perform pre-planned routes, helping you stay organized while inspecting large or multiple targets. FLIR Ignite enables the automatic upload of images and data generated by the thermal camera directly to the cloud, ensuring easy and secure storage and sharing. (*Requires FLIR Thermal Studio Pro software to operate) Quickly accelerate inspections and reporting by integrating the thermal camera with instruments equipped with FLIR METERLiNK® connectivity, transferring measurement data along with the thermal images into reports. WIDE RANGE OF OPTICAL OPTIONS The camera is available with one or more optics: 14°, 29 mm lens: A telephoto lens with a narrow field of view enables precise focusing and clear images of distant objects. 24°, 17 mm lens: With a 24° × 18° field of view, this lens allows for safe distance imaging of energized equipment (e.g., from 3 m) while ensuring precise focus on smaller targets as well. 42°, 10 mm lens: This lens has become the "standard" in Finland. The wide-angle lens provides a large field of view that is ideal for capturing electrical cabinets, buildings, roofs, or other areas where gathering as much information as possible in a single image is important. 80°, 5 mm lens: This unique lens provides an extremely wide field of view, allowing inspectors to capture large targets in a single image or perform inspections in tight spaces where gaining a broader view is not possible by stepping back from the subject. 14° & 24°, 17/29 mm FlexView™ Dual FOV is an optical system that combines two (14° & 24°) fields of view in one lens. Switch between fields of view at the touch of a button without changing lenses in the field. Save time and space while seamlessly switching the field of view as required. With two fields of view, the optics include an accurate 2.8x optical zoom. ENHANCED CONTRAST FOR FASTER FAULT FINDING Utilize the one-touch temperature scale adjustment feature to instantly enhance the image contrast and highlight potential electrical or mechanical issues. FEATURES THAT FACILITATE DIAGNOSTICS The FLIR E96 measures temperatures up to 1500°C and offers 3 point measurements, 3 area tools, and 2 user-programmable quick settings. SMOOTH REPORTING Built-in integration with FLIR routing software**, automatic image uploads directly to the FLIR Ignite cloud library, a built-in microphone for audio memos, and reporting capabilities all help enhance your workday.
