UHMW-PE-based products offer numerous outstanding features, such as excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and one of the highest impact resistance ratings among all thermoplastic materials. These properties make them ideal for demanding applications requiring impact resistance or low friction. Only PTFE has a lower coefficient of friction, but UHMW-PE tape has better wear resistance.
