When you purchase the 3M™ Speedglas™ welding masks 9100 QR series products, you safeguard your eyes, face, and head with a welding visor that can be removed from the protective helmet when not needed. The included 3M™ helmet H-701 is comfortable, durable, and lightweight, and its low profile provides balance and stability. The short edge improves visibility when looking upward. A range of accessories, including integrated safety glasses and a six-point suspension strap, are available separately. When attaching and detaching the welding visor, you do not need to remove the helmet – your head remains protected at all times. Side windows (darkening level 5) expand your field of view when welding in a kneeling position, and exhaled air is channeled out through the mask's side openings, which helps prevent the welding glass from fogging. The 3M™ Speedglas™ 9100 series welding glasses continue the tradition of excellent optical quality, featuring uniform darkness and minimal distortions across the entire viewing area. Designed for professional welders, the 9100XXi welding glass has seven variable shades (5, 8, and 9–13) suitable for most arc welding methods and a viewing area of 73 x 107 mm. The unique silver-colored front panel of the 9100XXi includes external controls for quickly and easily accessing grind and memory modes. The 3M™ Speedglas™ Natural Colour technology delivers high contrast and more natural colors. With delay functionality, you can set the welding glass switching time from dark to light, and you can lock any shade, such as light state 3, during grinding. The switch time (from light to dark) is 0.1 ms, and the arc detection sensitivity can be reliably adjusted.
