The VC006GM is Makita's first battery-powered, M-filtration class worksite vacuum cleaner. The vacuum is powered by two XGT® 40V batteries, generating an impressive maximum voltage of 80V. The suction power and airflow are comparable to mains-powered worksite vacuum cleaners of the same size.

Automatic filter cleaning prevents filter clogging and maintains high suction power. The airflow monitor, compliant with M-filtration class standards, gives an audible alert if the airflow weakens for any reason. This feature prevents dust particles from entering the room air and, consequently, the respiratory system.

The vacuum features the AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) automatic start system, which allows for communication between the tool and the vacuum cleaner via a Bluetooth connection. When a Bluetooth chip-equipped machine is started, the vacuum also starts automatically.

When vacuuming liquids, the vacuum's electronic sensors detect when the tank has reached its maximum liquid capacity. The vacuum then stops vacuuming and gives an audible alert. For dry materials, it is recommended to use a fleece dust bag to ensure that the exhaust air remains clean both while working and when emptying the tank.

The standard accessories include suction hoses with diameters of 38 mm and 28 mm, necessary adapters for connecting to the machine, suction pipes and handle, floor and crevice nozzles, and a fleece dust bag.

An optional accessory is the Makita Makpac case that can be attached to the vacuum cleaner, allowing for convenient carrying of tools alongside the vacuum.
