Applications: - Special material for bearing applications. - Suitable for use as a sliding surface in bearings and guide rails, as well as in machine components exposed to wear, with continuous temperatures exceeding 80°C (RH 50%). These include gears, drive wheels, wear-resistant seals for cylinders and pumps, and various parts in machinery and equipment construction. Properties: Ertalon 6 XAU+ is a thermally stabilized cast PA 6 grade with an extremely dense and high crystallinity. Compared to standard extruded and cast polyamides, Ertalon 6 XAU+ offers excellent temperature resistance in the air, allowing a continuous operating temperature of 105 °C and temporarily even up to 120 °C. Minimum operating temperature -30 °C. The cast material enables manufacturing of large and complex components. - Chemical resistance: pH range approx. 4-12 - Color: Black - UV resistance: Good - Food suitability: Not available We supply: sheets, rods, tubular products, machined parts, and cast parts. Semi-finished products are always delivered with the manufacturer's standard tolerances. If more precise dimensions or fits are required, they are only achievable through machining.
